Transvaginal Mesh (TVM)

Thousands of women in the UK have been fitted with a Transvaginal Mesh (TVM) implant since January 2010, a device manufactured by pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson.   

The implant, used to treat medical conditions such as Stress Urinary Incontinence and Pelvic Organ Prolapse, is known to erode, disintegrate and degrade.
