Virginia is an Associate with experience litigating high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes in the civil courts and in arbitration proceedings.

She works on the diesel NOx emissions litigations.
She is responsible for case and project management, corresponding with opponents, and drafting pleadings and Court applications. She is heavily involved in the firm’s business development and has taken a lead role in investigating new cases in the field of consumer protection law and business and human rights.

Virginia qualified as a solicitor in 2019, having started her career at Irwin Mitchell where she litigated high-profile and complex multi-party actions including claims relating to terrorist attacks and aviation disasters. She worked on the class action brought by victims of the 2015 Tunisia terrorist attack and on group claims relating to a 2012 terrorist attack on a gas facility in North Africa. After qualifying as a solicitor, she joined Clyde & Co where she represented insurers in arbitration proceedings against large multinationals in connection with liability for oil spills, environmental contamination, pollution and climate change.

Virginia is passionate about pro bono, social justice and diversity and inclusion, and is a leading member of the firm’s Human Rights Hub.
