Eléonore is a Trainee Solicitor at Pogust Goodhead working in the International Litigation department. She has experience working on cross-jurisdictional matters, including environmental, competition and data breach cases.
Eléonore joined Pogust Goodhead in 2020, after working as a Sciences Po Law School research assistant in Private International Law to a Brazilian Professor who acts as an expert on Município de Mariana v BHP Group UK Ltd, a case in which Pogust Goodhead represents hundreds of thousands of victims arising out of the Mariana dam disaster in Brazil. Having continued working on the case since, she recently obtained with her team a landmark judgment on jurisdiction before the Court of Appeal.
She works closely with the firm’s Global Managing Partner, having completed an internal secondment where she gained exposure to Business Development and Litigation Finance. Eléonore also has experience travelling to meet with clients based in Central Africa and South America, including local and indigenous communities.
Eléonore previously undertook internships at UNESCO in Cambodia working on matters relating to the ICJ rulings Temple of Preah Vihear (Cambodia v. Thailand), as well as at a legal tech start-up in Singapore.
She holds a Bachelor of Science from UCL and a Master’s in Economic Law from Sciences Po in Paris. She also completed the LPC with Distinction.
