Callum Walters works in the International Dispute Resolution department at Pogust Goodhead.
Since joining Pogust Goodhead in late 2018, his focus has mainly been on cross-border litigation involving multinational corporations, most notably Município de Mariana v BHP Group Plc, in which Pogust Goodhead represents hundreds of thousands of Brazilian victims of the Fundão dam disaster. Callum is also part of the legal team who obtained a landmark judgment on jurisdiction and parent company liability before the Court of Appeal.
He is also involved in Pogust Goodhead’s international and domestic competition law cases, acting on behalf of over a thousand Brazilian orange juice producers who allege competition law infringements in Viegas v Cutrale, and against several musical instrument manufacturers for their engagement in resale price maintenance.
Callum regularly travels to Brazil to meet with clients and assist them in their fight for justice.
He has a keen interest in group litigation, private international law, competition law and sports law.
