As an associate with over eight years in the legal sector, Danton Gangana works in the international team at Pogust Goodhead; he is mainly engaged with the firm’s mission by pursuing civil compensation for those injured by anticompetitive practices.
Danton graduated from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais – UFMG with a degree in Law, where he also obtained a Master’s in Philosophy of Law and Political Philosophy. Danton explored and discussed the relations between freedom, capitalism, liberalism, and democracy. His interest in this field naturally brought him to our antitrust department.
Danton started his career as a litigator representing workers and trade unions, which gave him experience in Brazilian labour law and collective actions. Since, he has accrued experience in Brazilian environmental and competition law. In 2019, he started working in Pogust Godhead’s Brazilian legal research department, which allowed him to work on all Brazilian cases we are engaged.
