As an experienced litigator, Dan concentrates his practice representing individuals in mass tort and environmental actions, including those harmed by dangerous pharmaceuticals, defective medical devices, toxic pollution, and other forms of corporate misconduct. He assists his clients by providing personal insight and guidance throughout every phase of complex litigation in State and federal court – including during pre-suit investigations, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial motions, and trial.
Before joining Pogust Goodhead, Dan served as a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office’s Division of Law. He initially served in the Tort Litigation and Judiciary section, but primarily focused on prosecuting polluters as a member of the Environmental Enforcement section. There, he successfully litigated multi-million dollar statutory and common claims on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection against various corporations responsible for contamination. He specifically handled several complex matters as part of the Attorney General’s natural resource damages, cost recovery, and environmental justice initiatives.
Dan also served in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office as a paralegal throughout law school and as an Assistant District Attorney responsible for prosecuting individuals charged with committing various felonies and misdemeanours in Northwest Philadelphia.
